Our Purpose

Since the birth of Dover AFB in 1941, Airmen have been supporting the worldwide mobility mission by providing trained maintenance specialists, logisticians, and cargo handlers for two of the Air Force’s larges transport cargo air craft; the C-5M Super Galaxy and the C-17 Globemaster lll. The Mission Generation Group’s mission is to “Generate, Deliver, and Care.”

Our Airmen play a critical role in providing the Department of Defense with safe, reliable, and rapid airlift across the globe. From humanitarian aid to life-saving military equipment for troops down range, our Airman give their all to deliver what is necessary to those in need.

The purpose of the Annual Mission Generation Golf Tournament is to raise money to honor the brave men and women who serve all to make this mission happen. Once a year, the 436 Mission Generation Group hosts the Mission Generation Awards banquet, where many of our Airmen are presented with awards and their accomplishments put on display for the world to see!
